修士2年の南之園彩斗君がロボティクス・メカトロニクス講演会2019 in Hiroshimaにおいて日本機械学会若手優秀講演フェロー賞を受賞しました!
南之園君は、誘電エラストマアクチュエータ(DEA)を用いて回転モータを開発しました。DEAモータは磁力を発さず、肉薄・軽量で、非常に低電力で駆動できる点で従来の磁気式のモータよりも優れた特長を有しています。講演会ではDEAモータの性能や応用方法について発表しました。
Ayato Minaminosono (M2) has received Young Engineers Award of The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) in its Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics (ROBOMECH) 2019 held in Hiroshima.
He has developed a rotary motor using dielectric elastomer actuators (DEA). DEA driven motors demonstrate advantageous features over conventional magnetic motors. The motors are thinner and lighter weight, use no magnetic forces and can work on much lower power. In the conference, he made a presentation on the performance and applications of DEA motors. He aims to realize a motor structure composed of only soft materials which enables the motor to keep rotating while deforming so that he can develop soft motors based on DEA motors in the future.
